Committees

FSEA has several committees that need your support and which offer you the opportunity to become an actively involved member. Nominating Committee - It is the duty of the Nominating Committee to report and recommend to the Board of Directors a slate of candidates to fill the vacancies on the Board and to present a slate of officers for election. Chairman-Steve Arms

Executive Committee - The Executive Committee consists of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Executive Committee is responsible for delegating and directing the administrative duties of the Executive Director (President) and other staff as appropriate. Chairman- John Moorman

Mentor Committee
It is the duty of the Mentor Committee to promote interest in the environmental analyst industry through the recognition of future environmental analysts from accredited schools in the state of Florida. Chairman - Lovie Hudson

Host and Program Committee
It is the duty of the Host and Program Committee to recommend to the Board of Directors locations and programs for the annual general meeting and other appropriate business and social functions of the SOCIETY; and to plan and carry out all such functions as directed by the Board of Directors. Chairman - Cathie Catasus

Membership Committee
It is the duty of the Membership Committee to plan and execute membership drives. Chairman - Carol Barrick

Field Sampling Committee
It is the duty of the Field Sampling Committee to assist regional directors in the organization, instruction, andimplementation of field sampling training activities in each region. Chairman - Silky Labie

Steering Committee - The Steering Committee is chaired by the immediate past president and consists of all past presidents currently active with the Society. The Steering Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors. Chairman- David Murto

Bylaws Revision Committee -  It is the duty of the Bylaws Revision Committee to annually review the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation of the SOCIETY and to recommend to the Board of Directors any revision or amendments to the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation. Chairman - Keith Kibbey

Professional Relations Committee
It is the duty of the Professional Relations Committee to provide the Website Committee with pertinent industry information and to act as the means whereby the Society might present its view on that same information within the environmental and regulatory communities. Chairman - Catherine Katsikis

Web Site Committee
It is the duty of the Website Committee [Sub-Committee of Professional Relations Committee] to oversee the FSEA website and its purpose of disseminating FSEA and industry information which will result in better recognition of the Society. Chairman - Lyle Johnson

New Technology Committee
It is the duty of the New Technology Committee [Sub-Committee of Professional Relations Committee] to keep abreast of new technologies coming available and to respond as needed in the best interest of the analytical community. Chairman-Keith Kibbey
